Getting out and about with your family, whether you have a baby, a toddler or older children, is so easy – energy allowing of course – because there is so much on our doorstep. There is something for every pocket and for all weather conditions.

National Trust – there are loads of properties and land to explore around the North East. Our family favourites are Cragside, Gibside, Seaton Delaval Hall and Wallington

English Heritage – there’s also a lot of English Heritage properties and land across the North East. Our favourites are: Tynemouth Priory, Dunstanburgh Castle, Belsay and huge sections of Hadrian’s Wall
