Mother Cuppa Magazine – to inform, reassure, empower and boost during pregnancy, for birth and with a young family.

Working with expectant and new parents is my passion – it has been part of my life since 2002, almost as long as I have been a parent myself. This digital magazine to provide a range of good knowledge, an experienced perspective and reassurance on all things pregnancy, birth and early family life.
This is a magazine based in the North East but it is for parents, grandparents and families everywhere.
As parents, the core of it all is you. You are the person who is pregnant, you are the person who births and it is you who parents. You make the decisions, you feel the emotions, you live with the decisions, you get through the days and you try to do the right thing.
Mother Cuppa Magazine is about you.

I am on a mission to provide a range of really good, practical knowledge so you can plan, do, adjust and look after you and the needs of your family.
As a parent and a practitioner, I know that you will have your own needs, questions, successes and challenges – there are very few rights and wrongs and I do not have an agenda on doing things in a particular way. Mother Cuppa Magazine is also about your wellbeing, developing robust coping strategies, feeling supported, asking questions and being able to put yourself at the centre of your care.
In addition to articles & peptalks, I am also creating an online community for consistent and focused support, conversation, questions, courses and content.
My aim is also to provide you with a UK directory of recommended services and support for expectant and new parents.

I hope you enjoy it and I hope it is useful. Please do take a wander around the website and share with everyone you know who is pregnant or has a baby. You can ask questions, you can get involved by sharing your stories and your photos and you can follow the social media.
