NECTAR dental study

1–2 minutes

read

1/3 of 5 year olds in England have some kind of tooth decay and the NECTAR project is focusing on finding out which care pathway is better in children’s dentistry and whether it makes a difference to children’s quality of life.

The NECTAR project has been funded and it is in the early stages. It is expected to run for around 5 years.

Advisory Panel

We need support from two public contributors with an interest in dental care to be part of the project’s advisory group.

  • The advisory panel will support the project, to help with public facing documents, to identify key findings and to help share these. Panel members will be able to ask questions, to make sure the project makes sense and to add feedback.
  • The advisory group aims to meet online 4 times a year.
  • Each meeting will last for around an hour and I will provide briefings before the meeting, as well as time afterwards to gather your feedback and questions.
  • Public contributors will be paid for their involvement in these meetings.

If you like to be part of the advisory group:

1. Do you think you will be able to be involved with the project for up to 5 years?

2. Would you be available for daytime meetings?

3. Do you have any comments or questions about this opportunity?

You can message me with any queries.

Thanks again for your time.
With best wishes
