Let’s talk about working
with families

After educating, talking and listening to parents for over 20 years, I bring knowledge, skills and specialist insight for organisations and brands working with families.

I work with businesses & organisations to build trust and relationships with expectant and new parents during this time of challenge and change.

Advising on & developing:

  • parent-facing resources and communication
  • effective engagement strategies
  • campaigns, content and products that reflect real parent needs
  • real insights into parent behaviour, concerns and experiences
  • a unique programme of resources and support for parents
  • workshops, talks and specialist insight sessions

To achieve:

  • being a trusted authority with insight into real parent concerns and experiences
  • a real connection with parents, to see where they are overwhelmed and what information and support they are missing
  • a strong reputation for understanding and working with parents
  • informing parents with evidence and experience led knowledge

Experience & expertise

After working with parents and organisations, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to organisations who are looking to work with and support expectant and new parents.

My personalised approach means I can work with parents in a unique way and I can provide insights into parent needs, behaviour and stress points

  • 20+ years of antenatal/postnatal practice
  • knowledge and understanding of pregnancy, birth, babies and early parenting
  • experience supporting thousands of families with resources, workshops, small group discussions and 1:1 sessions
  • knowledge of pregnancy, birth, babies and early parenting

Over the last 20 years, I have worked closely with expectant and new parents, talking with them about pregnancy, birth, babies and life as a parent.

These are some of the themes that have emerged from thousands of conversations:

  • pregnancy, birth, babies and parenting are all individual
  • needing to build confidence is very normal
  • it can feel as though there is a “right” way to do things
  • mums can develop self-imposed pressure to have the perfect birth or to be the parent who has all the answers
  • no parent knows what they are doing: everyone is learning as they go
  • support and understanding makes a significant difference to a parent’s experience
  • there isn’t always a simple fix but acknowledging the challenges, and having space to talk them through, can make a huge difference

I work with parents, businesses and organisations everywhere
