One of the practical ways you can help during labour is to encourage rest, especially in between contractions.
This will include physical support with cuddles, guiding into comfortable, resting positions using a ball or on the bed, using pillows to encourage greater comfort.
Even using breathing to be more relaxed and calm can provide more energy.
Labour can be brief and it can be long, no matter how labour unfolds, physical support and rest is really important.
You can book a session with me if you have questions, need some additional support or preparation for birth & baby.

Always seek medical support if you are concerned about yourself or your baby. Even if it is just a feeling that something isn’t right.
