A reassuring approach to early parenting

Babies are always developing, growing and changing – and as a parent you are always learning, adapting and wondering whether you are getting it right.

Becoming a parent is a time of transition, fresh challenges and navigating a world of conflicting information. It’s a really personal time where consistent information and reassurance – based on evidence and experience – can be needed, even after you have found your feet.

As an experienced postnatal practitioner, I hear the conversations and the comments, I respond to the questions and I know where both the parenting and personal challenges can be.

Parenting is a constant learning curve, it can feel isolating and relentless at times, with guilt, worry and the challenge of meeting your baby’s needs, as well as your own. Every baby and family is different and there are very few quick fixes so good information, along with the right support can make a huge difference.

I have worked with many, many families over the last 22 years, and I have always listened to and learned from them, which has given me an experienced postnatal approach. My role is to normalise life with a baby, to listen, to reassure and to provide confidence.

It’s important for new parents to have good information, to feel understood and heard, to have a voice, to trust their instincts and to get to know their baby. And that’s what I am here for.

With the digital antenatal course you will have a complete guide to birth and the first three months with your baby. There are resources to help you personalise the information and you can also include 1:1 sessions to talk through your baby preparation, to focus on different postnatal issues and to ask questions.

There’s also a range of baby guides, with 1:1 sessions, to focus on baby sleep and weaning.

With 1:1 sessions I am on hand for you during life with your baby – from those early days and weeks and throughout the first year. With daytime, evening and weekend appointments, we can work around your schedule.

You can sign up for my newsletter to read exclusive content, ask questions, chat online, take part in monthly birth and baby conversations and to be part of an online space for ongoing support and reassurance.
