Giving you a warm welcome and a safe space for conversation, questions and reassurance.
After running postnatal groups for several years, my sessions are both informal and practical – you can chat, gain support and ask questions. My aim is to give you reassurance, support and confidence as you adapt, adjust and meet the needs of your baby.
Walk & Talk
Mondays 10-11am from North Shields Fishquay
A weekly wander with some conversation – for families with a bump, baby or toddler.
We will meet by the benches next to the fisherman statue and walk along the coast path towards Tynemouth.
We can either head back along the coast path again or we’ll wander up the path to the Oxford Street car park and then walk down the hill path to the Fish Quay beach.
Just let me know if you are coming along.
Bump & Baby Group
Wednesdays 11am-12.30pm – YMCA Hub in North Shields
- Parents across Tyneside can can come along for some conversation, questions and reassurance.
- It’s a free session and you can bring a brew or you buy a drink in the YMCA cafe.
- There is free parking nearby or the YMCA is only a 5-minute walk from North Shields Metro.
- This session runs most weeks – just let me know if you are coming along. You can message me below and join the Mother Cuppa Whatsapp group for updates.
Wednesdays 4-5pm – over Zoom
A weekly online session for parents who are part of my membership community.
This is an informal space for ongoing support, questions and reassurance.
With an experienced antenatal and postnatal practitioner so you can talk about a range of issues…
the end of your pregnancy | recovery from birth | sleep & being tired | feeding development & growth spurts | what’s normal | being a mum | loss of identity feeling isolated | relationship changes | low mood & anxiety | bad days conflicting advice | going back to work
We have a small Whatsapp group for the Mother Cuppa sessions and you can message me below if you would like to be added to the group.
“This is a group that focuses on me, not just my baby, so I can chat, ask questions, share, offload and feel supported.”
“It’s an oasis of calm to chat, offload and get a bit of a boost.”
“This has been a godsend – it has made such a difference.”
“I always feel better after Mother Cuppa.“
