Mother Cuppa

Giving you a warm welcome and a safe space for conversation, questions and reassurance.

After running antenatal and postnatal groups for many years, my sessions are about having an informal space to chat, gain support and ask questions.

I’m on hand for the good days as well as the challenging weeks and my aim is to give you reassurance and confidence as you adapt, adjust and meet the needs of your baby.

Mondays – online for parents everywhere

For parents with a bump or baby
10-11am on Zoom

  • It’s free and on Zoom
  • Get settled with a drink and you can join on your phone, tablet or computer
  • I’ll be setting up a Whatsapp group so you can keep in touch in-between sessions

Wednesdays – for Tyneside parents

For parents with a bump or baby
11am-12.30pm in the YMCA Hub

  • It’s free and you can bring along a brew or buy a drink in the YMCA cafe
  • To get to the hub – there is a lift if you have a pram
  • There is parking nearby and the YMCA is only a couple of minutes from North Shields Metro
  • We have a small Whatsapp group to keep in touch in-between sessions – just message me below if you would like to be added to the group

Mother Cuppa runs most weeks – join the Whatsapp group for updates

With an experienced antenatal and postnatal practitioner so you can talk about a range of issues…

the end of your pregnancy | feeling ready for birth | recovery from birth | sleep & being tired | feeding development & growth spurts | what’s normal | being a mum | loss of identity feeling isolated | relationship changes | low mood & anxiety | bad days conflicting advice | going back to work

“This is a group that focuses on me, not just my baby, so I can chat, ask questions, share, offload and feel supported.”

“It’s an oasis of calm to chat, offload and get a bit of a boost.”

“This has been a godsend – it has made such a difference.”

“I always feel better after Mother Cuppa.

Having worked with parents since 2002, I am trusted to provide a balance of reliable knowledge, non-judgemental support and much needed reassurance.

My approach is to listen, to provide an experienced perspective, an opportunity to ask questions and to help you find what works for you and for your family.

I have facilitated bump and baby sessions for several years – they have always provided community and conversation as well as ongoing support and reassurance when it is needed.

Please feel free to message me here with any queries.
