Hello
“This whole motherhood thing is a wild ride and you definitely want Janine on your side!”

Expectant and new parents can become overwhelmed by the amount of information available, unsure of what to trust and what is right for their family.
Pregnancy, birth, babies, and family life are unique to everyone, which is why I focus on a personalised approach with conversations to better understand the different needs for information, support and reassurance.
Conversations strengthen knowledge, confidence and support, as well as the ability to prepare, plan and navigate the change and the challenges of family life. My expertise involves supporting parents with:
- birth & baby preparation
- adjusting to life with a new baby
- baby sleep
- birth reflections & recovery
- feeding & weaning
- returning to work
- having another baby
- work/life balance
- parent wellbeing

My practice specialises in…
● conversations & workshops: creating safe spaces for learning, listening, reassurance, support, questions, involvement
and connection.
● writing & education: content and resources with insights,
reassurance and knowledge, based on evidence and experience.
● guidance & planning: expertise for organisations and businesses to support and understand the needs and challenges of parents.

“Janine really understands parents. She provided a welcoming space to ask questions, share experiences, offload, celebrate successes and build friendships.”

I have listened to parents to create engaging content, resources and support that makes a difference.
“You were awesome throughout pregnancy and afterwards. I learnt so much and I felt supported and listened to.”
I’m Janine, an antenatal & postnatal specialist and I am passionate about writing and talking about birth, babies and early parenting.
I work with parents who need information to understand and to plan; to talk things through to feel reassured and listened to; and to ask questions to personalise their preparation and support.
I have worked with parents for many years now, I like the connection and conversations can make a huge difference to knowledge and feeling supported.
I love…
- supporting birth & baby preparation
- normalising baby behaviour
- boosting the confidence of new parents
- helping parents to balance work and parenting
- raising awareness of the birth & baby challenges and potential options
As an antenatal & postnatal specialist, I work with organisations and businesses to provide specialist content, resources and support for parents.
I am also an experienced involvement lead within maternity research, connecting families with research and working on projects within different universities.
