read

This baby massage course is about simple and effective baby massage techniques which can soothe and settle your baby.

Baby massage is a lovely way to connect with and relax with your baby – it may encourage your baby to sleep, it can ease wind and constipation and it can help to calm your baby.

It also gives you techniques to try to help to settle your baby, which can help to keep you calmer.

The key points with baby massage
*do it when your baby is in a happy and alert mood, rather than being hungry or too tired.
*use a light oil such as grapeseed oil, olive oil or coconut oil
*Your touch can be slightly firm, rather than light as it may be too tickly
*make sure your baby is warm and comfortable
*you can use sensory lights to calm and distract your baby

Organic grapeseed oil is perfect for baby massage, as this doesn’t have a strong odour and it is a light oil which isn’t likely to cause a skin reaction. As with all products you use with your baby, just watch for any reactions in-case their skin doesn’t like it.
