January Conversations

It’s been a busy month seeing mums on my Monday & Wednesday bump & baby sessions

There have been many conversations about being a parent, juggling, tiredness, how unique life with a baby is and finding what works.

Feeding has been a big issue – breast-feeding, bottle-feeding, combination feeding, reducing feeds in preparation for work – along with baby weight gain and sleep.

I see mums in pregnancy, as well as with new and older babies so the conversations are varied as everyone supports each other and I offer as much reassurance as I can.

My sessions are often about just listening, providing a safe and supportive space to share and offload.

Conversations have included:

  • friendship changes as well as relationship changes
  • making it up as you go along
  • feeling like you are getting it wrong
  • never having a break
  • feeling emotional
  • being overwhelmed
  • having bad days

I am always here to inform, support and reassure – it’s what I am trained to do and it’s what I am passionate about.
