Mother Cuppa

Giving you a warm welcome and a safe space for conversation, questions and reassurance.

After running antenatal and postnatal groups for many years, Mother Cuppa is about having an informal space to chat, gain support and ask questions during pregnancy and when your baby is here.

I’m on hand for the good days as well as the challenging weeks and my aim is to give you reassurance and confidence to help you plan, prepare, adapt and navigate the change and the challenges.

For parents across Tyneside

  • During pregnancy and with your baby
  • Wednesdays at 11am-12.30pm in the YMCA Hub, North Shields
  • With a Whatsapp group to keep in touch and to ask questions
    in-between sessions

This is a small, informal and welcoming group for conversation, questions and reassurance so you can support each other and also ask me for information.

  • Mother Cuppa runs most weeks – updates are posted on Whatsapp
  • The YMCA is only a couple of minutes from North Shields Metro and there is free parking on Norfolk Street
  • We have a small Whatsapp group to keep in touch and to ask questions
in-between sessions – just message me below to be added to the group
  • The YMCA hub is in the basement – there is a lift if you have a pram

It’s free with a hot brew but you can make a donation as a thank you

For parents everywhere

In pregnancy and with your baby

  • An informal weekly online chat session on Wednesdays
  • So you can ask questions, gather information and feel reassured
  • You will also have access to exclusive content and discussion

With an experienced antenatal and postnatal practitioner so you can talk about a range of issues…

the end of your pregnancy | feeling ready for birth | recovery from birth | sleep & being tired | feeding development & growth spurts | what’s normal | being a mum | loss of identity | feeling isolated | relationship changes | low mood & anxiety | bad days | conflicting advice | going back to work

“This is a group that focuses on me, not just my baby, so I can chat, ask questions, share, offload and feel supported.”

“It’s an oasis of calm to chat, offload and get a bit of a boost.”

“This has been a godsend – it has made such a difference.”

“I always feel better after Mother Cuppa.
