Birth Doula
With consistent, calm and professional birth support, which is usually alongside your birth partner, you can feel safe and reassured.
I don’t replace midwifery expertise, I provide emotional and practical support for you at the end of your pregnancy and throughout labour and birth.
As your exclusive doula I will:
- provide antenatal course resources
- be on call from around 38 weeks
- be with you from when you need me in early labour until your baby is born
- be on hand for questions, information and support at the end of your pregnancy
- be with you during a homebirth or in hospital
- provide an end of pregnancy session with you for information, support and reassurance
- provide a postnatal visit to provide support in those early days
For parents who have completed a series of antenatal sessions with me, the birth doula package is £650.
To include three antenatal sessions, the birth doula package is £800.
I work with parents in Newcastle and across Tyneside and I only book up to 6 birth doula clients a year.
Postnatal Doula
With additional support and reassurance during those first few hours, days and weeks with your baby, you can feel supported and reassured.
These home visits help you as you find your feet as a new parent, and can provide practical support with feeding, bathing and looking after your baby.
I provide daytime, evening and weekend sessions throughout the year for new parents across Newcastle and Tyneside.
£65 for a 90-minute session – to talk things through, to ask questions and for some practical support with your new baby
£150 for three 90-minute sessions – for more ongoing support and reassurance

With skilled support and birth knowledge I have worked with many parents from early labour right through until they get settled after birth with their baby in their arms. Being with you throughout labour and birth I can provide consistent encouragement with contractions, help you to manage your energy, to use your breathing and to work with your midwife so you know more about your options.
With a calm, reassuring approach, I support new parents during the early hours, days and weeks with their baby. Coming to visit you in your home means you have time to ask questions, have practical support and feel more confident about finding what works with your baby.
As a practitioner, I am trusted to provide good information, based on evidence and experience, and to make you feel at ease.
